The more time I spend with the Bible learning who God is, the more I recognize the continuity between the Old and New Testament. God stays the same in both periods of time. While the Old Testament may recount more battles, sieges, and exiles than the New Testament, God’s call to man remains consistent.

True Worship
This past week, we studied the second command to not create a carved image. The heart of this command is worship; if the first command is about worshipping the true God, the second is about worshipping the true God in a true way. Working Hard Doesn’t Mean Working 24/7
I work hard. However, I differentiate working hard from working 24/7. I’m prone to the latter; it’s easy for me to work and incredibly difficult to rest. I have to exercise great care and self-discipline so that I don’t fall into workaholism.
