The Writing Life
Unless a kid has theatrical or literature leanings, most don’t care all that much about Shakespeare. It’s required reading to muddle through in junior high and high school. Cue the cliff notes! The kids might enjoy it if they have a good literature teacher who explores the language and imagery, but even then, the end result is much like the one faced by poor Emily Dickinson: something to be read and promptly forgotten.

It’s been a project two years in the making, but Write Right’s coloring book is finally done and available for purchase! It’s been such fun to work on the drawings, many of which have never been published online—I want people to be as surprised and delighted as I was while I drew them.

By a strange twist of fate, the official launch of the Write Right Colors Shakespeare coloring book (for adults) and Shakespeare’s birthday are on the same day, April 23, 2016. What luck! What stars!
My big project this year is the Write Right Colors Shakespeare coloring book. In preparation of its projected publish date (March 2016), I’ve designed a t-shirt. It features Write Right as Shakespeare on the front. The back shows the coloring book title, using my standard fonts.
