How to Stay Organized in 2017—Write RightI don’t know about other people, but I’m already plotting for 2017. I know some of the comics I want to draw. (Attention: It will be a new theme. Yay!) I have a list of people to contact at the beginning of the year. Dates for Collective, trainings, and other events — I’m hoping to participate in Creative Missions again — are already blocked off.

Five Reasons to Have an Editorial Calendar

This person's calendar seems as obsessive compulsive as mine.My penchant for organization is fairly well-known. It’s one of the reasons I use an editorial calendar. It keeps my content organized and lets me know of posts that need to be written, such as this one. Once I write that content and prepare it to be published, I am free to focus on other things, namely, building my business and working on larger projects.

Why You Need to Keep a Notebook

Mike Rohde's Custom Moleskine Planner.I am the keeper of many notebooks. I have one that stays in my purse. It isn’t a Moleskine, but it does the trick. I have notebooks beside my laptop. I have another in my living room, and it’s reserved for poetry. I then usually have one or two on my nightstand; I never know when an idea might visit, and I’ll need to record it.
