Two days ago, I had no idea who Ryan Holiday was. I’m guessing most people still don’t unless they live and breathe PR news. I don’t consider myself one of those people, but one of my favorite blogs is Spin Sucks. I’ve learned a lot at that site and made some invaluable connections and friends. As I read Gini Dietrich’s post about Holiday and his book, Trust Me, I’m Lying, the other day, I found myself perplexed and horrified.

And the winner is…not Michael Schechter. Sorry, Michael. The winner is Jason Konopinski. I’m almost certain he’s going to celebrate with a Snoopy dance; at least, I hope he’s excited enough about winning that he’ll want to dance a Snoopy dance.
International Women’s Day
I’ll be honest. I had no idea that March 8 was International Women’s Day until I was mentioned in a friend’s post. I still didn’t make any plans to write about International Women’s Day until I started to see a flurry of posts in relation to the day. Peer pressure sometimes is a good motivator, and it is one in this case.
