#365 Day Challenge--Write RightThe #365 Day Challenge has its precedent in photography. Do a Google search of “What is the 365 Day Challenge?” and answers about photography from photographers rise to the top. My own inspiration doesn’t come from Google; it’s from my former employer Geoff Livingston. He took on the photography challenge the other year and produced a number of photographs that are available for purchase.

Three Words: 2013 Edition

Writing the three words.A number of my friends and acquaintances use Chris Brogan’s “three words” concept. I’ve yet to use it, mostly because I feel an odd resistance to being tied to a certain set of words. That being said, I see the value in the limitation. It brings a focus to what one plans and hopes to do. It causes a person to pause and to think about what three words capture his or her aims. Declaring them publicly results in an accountability to those words and the goals attached to them. Because of that, I’ve decided to give the “three words” a try.

Do you have an accountability partner?An accountability partner is a kick-ass partner. It’s the person who’s going to tell you the truth even when it hurts. It’s the person who’s going to be there when nobody else is. It’s the person who’s going to hold your hand and, for lack of a better phrase, kick your ass when you need it.
