Most days, I shrug off the Lutheran church’s marquee as I run past it during a morning run. The saying is usually a cliché or some sentimental rubbish. Other times, the saying hits home.

How to Improve Your To-Do List
I use old-fashioned to-do lists, i.e., pen and paper. There’s something infinitely more satisfying in writing the list by hand, crossing through things (often vehemently), crumpling the crossed-out list, and tossing it into the recycling bin. An online tool or the trash sound that my Mac makes doesn’t compare. I know. I’ve tried—which isn’t to say I don’t use the applications or empty the trash on my laptop. I do. They just don’t bring the same sense of accomplishment that pen and paper do.

I tend toward the workaholic end of the spectrum. If I’m not working, I can develop a guilty conscience. I know working all the time isn’t healthy, but I’m tempted all the same.

My big project this year is the Write Right Colors Shakespeare coloring book. In preparation of its projected publish date (March 2016), I’ve designed a t-shirt. It features Write Right as Shakespeare on the front. The back shows the coloring book title, using my standard fonts.
